Just got finished putting together my buddy's car. it was a homemade kit and all exhaust shops are closed. We did makeshift pipes from autozone to make his piping until he can go to a shop tomorrow. Where we are at right now is eveyrhtign is hooked up, Except the IACV. I have the pcv vlave routed preturbo. Where do I need to hook up the IACV. I have nowhere to put. Will allowing it to go into atmosphere be ok? I have no way to hook it to any pipe unless I splice it in with the PCV or put th IACV pre-turbo and then do the pcv atmospheric. Please let me know thanx......

if youre talking about just to get it to the shop it doesnt matter. but for permanent i would 'T' both of them together and have them vacuuum sucked pre-turbo. thats what ill be doing with mine, cept the valve cover breather im going to have it enter a catch can before going into my intake. and the iacv and the other valve that are connected to that big tube by the throttle body im going to run straight into the intake. as long as you have vacuum on both youll be good.

the iacv has to be hooked up for the car to run, if its left loose i believe the car will stall or idle high.

The car is fine but if rpms drop too much it hurts it and stalls. However got that and no exhaust workign against me. No 02 hooked up. The computer is going crazy trying to send the right amount of fuel.

the o2 not being hooked up is whats making it stall. i wouldnt be driving it around like that. youre just asking for something to go wrong.

You should vent the PCV to atmosphere and route the IACV pre-turbo. Don't forget to plug all the ports on the IM for the PCV or you'll have a huge vacuum leak.

Currently pcv is atmospheric with little vent on the end. iacv is preturbo after maf, and got a boost leak somehwere. ONe leak is under the throttle body. Where it sucks air....fixing that tonight.... But got a leak somewhere in the system.

not to jack but i have a quick Q. the line going to the iacv is it the large tube next to the four smaller ones right under the TB?
