Ok, so I replaced my IACV today with a used unit from z1 motorsports. I don't know what's wrong, but I set my idle to 650rpm and when I plugged the aac back in, nothing happens. I'm under the impression that it should raise the idle to 750rpm when plugged back in. My old IAC did the exact same thing. I've got 12v coming from the connector. Why isn't my idle raising like it should?

Also, when driving if I try to coast in neutral it doesn't hold idle and just bogs and dies...

You should try cleaning your MAF sensor

Actually I had to make a deflector for the pop filter. Fixed the coasting issue. Still not able to get the idle right though. Its idling ok, but seems like it's using the base idle not the ecu set...

And I replaced the tps right before I did the iacv.

When you replaced the TPS, did you actually calibrate it or just install it?

Yeah, pretty sure I did it right. Used a paperclip, set to .45v, unplugged gray connector for 10 seconds then reconnected. The TPS was definitely A problem. There was a dead spot right about 6 ohms when slowly pressing throttle and a hesitation on takeoff. That seems to be fixed now. Then I built a deflector for the pop charger, now the dying/midrange stutter is fixed. Only thing still existing is the issue with I think the IAC. Set to 650rpm with the yellow connector unplugged, but when I plug it in the idle does not raise to 750 like I'm told it's supposed to. I did buy the part used from z1, maybe I got another bad unit?

So no ideas of why it won't idle up when I plug in the aac? My only guess is I got a bad iacv.

It's possible that you got a bad one, but I was pretty sure Z1 tested their used stuff before shipping it. Did you try testing it yet?

Have you tried checking tps voltage with the plug plugged and back probe it? Most models I've seen have corroded tps connectors

I haven't tried testing the new one yet, but I will do that next.

@ Solitaire: I just replaced the TPS and reset as well. Its working properly now. IAC still not.

Did you clean the IACV before you installed it? The AAC solenoid may test good, but if the valve/spring assembly under it is heavily gummed up it won't be able to push the valve in to adjust your idle. I had this happen once, a small tap with a punch and a round of carb cleaner and WD40 solved it for me.
