I just recently bought a 89 S13 Fastback with a KA24E. I am having some issues while I am idling. At first, I thought that it was just that the TPS was set too high so I adjusted it accordingly.

Well now my car idles roughly at 1k while it is cold (sometimes struggles to stay on) and idles at 1k while it is warm, but something is causing it to go up to 1.5k-2k. I was wondering what problem would cause this.. Idle Air Control Valve? MAF Sensor? Vacuum Leak..? Anything else I should be looking for?

I took a video to show everyone so they would understand. When it is idling high (1.5k-2k) I can push down on the gas a little bit and it will go back down to 1k for a second, but than goes right back up..

Any suggestions?

COLD START VIDEO - I usually have to rev it up a bit to keep it running.
CAR IS WARM - I rev it up a bit to get the RPM's to go down..

**Sorry, couldn't figure out how to embed the video from TinyPic..

IACV should be 2 - 2 1/2 turns out from tightened, check all vacuum hoses for routing and condition. It sounds like you have a little misfire, so check timing and plugs and wires
