IACV cleaning your expert opinion?

hello tried cleaning my iacv when it was running i poured some seafoam into the front hose. now it idles and dies. now the question is how do i fix this?cause i want to drive it now!1 wait it out 2 blow air in there (can that damage the iacv? , im guessing it could)3 rev it hard? ( ive tried this for a few mins still no luck should i try it more?)

I'm not an expert, but I've cleaned IACV on my 240, so I know a little about what to do. When you start the car, let it idle and rev it a bit when it looks like it's going to die. You don't want to just have it rev higher, because then you're not getting the air through IACV. You want it to idle for as long as possible. You probably dissolved lots of crap in there which caused IACV to clog up. If you did it right though, you should see some of it come out of your muffler. Keep it running until it stabilizes or add some more carb cleaner into the front hose to help it dissolve the rest of the buildup.
