Hey guys. I have a 1996 I30 that keeps throwing a code 505 which is a iac circuit code. So I cleaned the throttle body and removed the iac and cleaned it, and looked for vacuum leaks. Now it idles at about 900 smoothly but still has the service engine light on. What could the problem possibly be?

900 RPMs is a little high. It's supposed to sit around 650.

Did you check the IAC contacts? They might possibly be corroded.

Check the throttle position sensors too
