Hi guys, I'm new here and I was hoping you tech guys could help.I drive an '89 s13 Fastback with a sohc ka and it won't start anymore.I was tinkering around under the hood while the engine was running, and I'm really clumsy so I accidentally yanked a wire out of the IAA unit located on the intake manifold (sohc). The engine ceased and it would start back up. I figured the wire going into the IAA unit was faulty anyway, so I replaced it with a brand new one, and still no luck.

Any thought? Idea? Answers? Thanks guys.

does it crank? sounds like you blew a fuse in the relay box by battery. you should be able to start car with iaa unit disconnected.

The guy who inspected my IAA unit said it's fine and that even if it wasn't fine, a messed up IAA shouldn't keep my car from starting. It was a blown fuel pump fuse. I must have missed it when I looked them over thanks though, guys.
