So I want to get new wheels for my 2000 I30, and someone is offering to sell me a set of I35 wheels for a good price. I checked, and the I35 wheels are 40 offset, while my I30 has 45 offset. Will there be any issues if I decide to get these? I am not going to modify suspension at all; it will be staying all stock. I'm guessing a 215/50/17 tire would be ideal? Or if there is some other size to use, please let me know. Thanks for any help!

There will be no issues. Even if you were lowered. Here's my 2000 I30 on stock 16's with 215/55/16 and below with Murano 18's, 225/45, offset +35:

Thanks! I actually just noticed that the wheels I was originally planning on buying from Tire Rack were a +35mm offset. Now I can't wait to get these wheels. Two have slight bends, so I told the guy last night I would have to pass. But this morning I got a message that he would be willing to just give me the wheels as long as I just go and pick them up  So now for the price for me to get one, maybe two straightened (and possibly one with the worse bend refinished) it's a better alternative than buying a new set. Doesn't hurt that I love the stock 6-spoke I35 wheels
