I35: What's up with my subwoofer?

It doesn't work most of the time but then it randomly comes back on. Anyone else experiencing this? 2002 I35.

Could be the amp. If you have the means, try hooking up another speaker and see if it works more consistently. If the problem persists, it could be the amp is dying, or perhaps you just have some lose connections going to it. If it works OK, then the voicecoil in the sub is probably fried.
