I just had the 60k transmission flush on my 95 Q at the dealer. They gave me an new I35 as a loaner. So I immediately proceeded to "see what is could do". The 0-60 was great and not far behind my Q to 85. After 85 it was falling behind Q quick. Torque steer not as bad as I30, but still there. Car not made for people over 6 foot, like myself. W/out telescoping wheel, it makes it uncomfortable to reach with seat all the way back. Stereo sounds good, but only gets so loud. Interior nice overall. No tilting headrests, guages were nice. Shifter kinda like a cheap gated imitation of the Q. Did not have a nice flow to it. The most alarming part about the test was full throttle redline shifts. The car made a loud and hard clunking noise each time from 1st to 2nd. I believe it was coming from power train. Car has only 1k miles on it.In summary, I have driven many I30s, this car, 2000 Q45, J30 and I would rather be in my old 93 or current 95Q

I dislike the I35 due to its FWD platform.

If they made it RWD and added 40hp, it'd be stellar.

I don't care for FWD at all. I always request a G35 when I take the 02 in for service and I must say that little car rocks. If I was younger and smaller I would buy a G35 2 door M6 in a minute.I guess I am " stuck " with my Q!
