On a newer Infiniti (2002+), if you hold the UNLOCK button on the remote the driver and front passenger windows go down. (If you have an actual key, you can hold the key in the lock on the door to make the windows go up and down. Hold the key in the lock position and the windows all go up, and hold the key in the unlock position and they go down. Unfortunately, the windows will not go up from the remote, as this would be safety no-no.

What is the point of using the key? If your window switches are broken?

More convenient if you just want to crack the windows or put them back up quickly than getting in the car and using the switches, I guess.

Nope. I've tried. Not even on the GXEs with keyless entry.

I had a loaded Mercury Sable with the keypad. It really is handy - wish more cars had them.
