Getting ready to replace the power steering rack on my 2002 I35. I looked on the AutoZone site for their vehicle repair guides and they're suggesting that I remove the steering wheel so as not to damage the SRS Sprial Cable. I don't see how this part could be damaged if the steering wheel is locked when I remove the rack. Am I right or wrong???
