I35 new stereo

I own a 2002 I35 and the Bose/Clarion stereo is bad. A systemic prob. What should I replace it with. I don't want to replace with the same unit and buy the same probs. I don't want to repair and the same prob down the road. I have to consider the dash face plate and the steering wheel button controls.Thanks for any help
