Hey all!

I'm a newbie here... and a new Infiniti owner as well.

I just purchased a black (and black interior) 2000 Infiniti I30 and one of my complaints (minor, yes) is that the front Infiniti logo on the grille is way too small. Are the I35 grilles compatible with my I30, and if so, where can I purchase one for a decent price? If they are not compatible, does anyone have any suggestions for getting that larger Infiniti logo on my grille?

Also, my driver's side window squeeks quite a bit as it goes up and down - my original thought was that it was the rubber 'insulation' surrounding the glass was too tight, but it almost appears that it is coming from deeper down, inside the door. Has anyone dealt with this sort of problem before?

Thanks for all your help - looking forward to hearing all about everyone else's Infiniti I30 experiences!

As for the I35 grille, don't get it, it looks tacky! j/k

Yes, the I35 grille will fit on your I30. Cheapest place to find them is from a junkyard or on eBay. Sometimes you can get lucky with http://www.car-part.com

As for the window, I don't know. I would have used silicone lubricant on the weatherstripping surrounding on either side of the window, but based on what you said, that doesn't seem to be it.

i did it last month......you may have to wax the front grill area...the 135 grill is smaller and is recessed in the grill compartment......it bolts up exactly.......you will change from a 2001 to a 2004 in less than 5 min.

Does anyone have a picture or two of an I30 that has had the I35 grill installed?
