The CEL came on today and got a 41 Intake Air Temp Sensor. Looked under the hood and yup it wasn't even plugged in. I plugged it in and still got the code. So I unplugged the batter negative hoping to reset the ECU, but it didn't help. Is there a test I can do on the sensor to test it's working ability. I have a good volt meter and it meausred aprox 1200 ohms..doesnt' seem right to me. anything else could be the problem?

i guess you can't be any use then. it's for an I30t. That makes me responsible for 4 cars now...:(

to remove the trouble codes from many ECUs, you either have to go through a procedure, or you have to leave the battery disconnected for a longer period of time. thats all i got.

thanks. i'll have it apart this weekend anyway in the garage redoing the spring/struts/shocks/brakes/rotors/all fluids. So I'll pull off the battery cable to. I'm sure it'll be more then a couple minutes to do all of that.
