I30 wiper noise

Yesterday I had to chisel the I30 out from the ice. Started it up and got the heater going. The wipers were frozen to the windshield and apparently the intermittent wipers were on..but I never knew it because they were under a layer of ice. When I broke them free they took off and started doing their job. Later on while driving this weird noise started coming from the wiper motor I'm guessing. I don't even know how to explain the noise, but when I first heard it I thought it sounded like a Harley riding by. The wipers still work fine and they seem to be keeping the proper speed..just have this annoying noise.

I like to know how you have fixed thewiper problem. I had the same situation that wiper got stuck due to snow and now it will not work.
