I am in the market for a 2001 car with relatively low mileage. I have found a Max GLE, Max SE & an I30 that I have enjoyed driving. The I30 is ~$1-2K more than the Maxs.

I'd like to hear from folks the pros/cons of each of these vehicles. Please, help me make up my mind. Ultimately, I don't think that I can go wrong.

Thanks.

The I30T and Max SE are virtually identical once you get past the sheetmetal. The GLE is the leather version of an I30 non-T, and the GXE, if I remember is cloth, unavailable on the I30. Otherwise these cars are at least "first cousins"...

It depends how many options you want too. The I30 pretty much comes standard with things that are options on Maxima's. ie automatic climate control, leather, moon room etc.

I like my SE's suspension for stock and the time being. There seems to be more parts for the maxima even though they are the same cars. I would base decisions on miles and condition before preference while including cost. Nick
