I30 to I35 body interchange

Hey, I just got an 04 I35 with a clipped front end. It seems like there are virtually no aftermarket pars for the thing even though there is a ton of them for the I30 model. Infinity dealer does not want to fess up if the parts like fenders, hood, bumpers are interchangeable. Does anyone know if they are?

As far as I know there are no front end differences between a 2000-01 I30 and a 2002-04 I35. Some colors are different and the grill is different, but that's all I can think of. Looking at Infinitipartsusa.com, the parts you listed are all listed as "00-04" for the year.

You can find literarly anything for any car there. Everything from navigation parts, engines, body parts, and everything in between can be found there.

Its a website that salvage yards from all over the country use. Yards list parts for sale, costs, addresses, and contact information. They usually ship via UPS and I've even been able to bargain with them to get parts cheaper than they've listed on the website.

(I recently bought a navigation screen for $200. It was originally listed for $400.)

I should also mention that the only differences between the I30 and I35 (body-wise) are the front grille, and and the silver bar that says Infiniti above the license plate. Interior parts might be slightly different, but all parts, inside and out should be interchangeable.

does anyone know how the little chrome thingy on the back might be called?the thing that says infiniti on it, and if i can replace myI30 one with one from an I35. IMO the I35 trunk looks way more updated and stylish

Yeah it's a little darker and has that "brushed" look. But by looking at this http://www.canadiandriver.com/...r.jpg picture and the back of my i30, It looks shorter. Theres no way it would fit.

No I really dont think that the I35 parts will fit on the I30. They look to different.

Oh, what is that part called? That McSteve talked about. I am looking for it for my Maxima(euro)/I30. Cant find the part anywhere. I was looking on infinitipartsusa.com where I got my I35 grille, but I cant find that part in the list.

the litlle chrome thing that says infiniti is not just alittle thing. it involves taking the whole section off. license plate area, trunk lid key hole area, all that is one piece

I know for a fact that on the I30, the little thing will come off separately. I haven't messed with it on my i35 though.
