I am looking to replace my I30 suspension with an aftermarket set up instead of OEM. Racing lab has a set of tokico blue struts for under $400 and each OEM is at least $114. I was wondering what I should replace the oem set up with and how much I should expect to pay. I have never done this work my self but might take a crack at it if it isn't too complicated. What do you think?

Go for it ! You can do it.

What year?
Plan on getting an alignment, and take the struts to NAPA or something to have the springs switched. It can be very dangerous if you haven't done it before. Taking them in doesn't cost much.

If you have any clunks or worn out crap now is the time, if some things are worn they can't do an alignment.

There's a tutorial out there somewhere...
