Ok my mom has a 98 I30 and her Airbag light blinks, they took it to the dealer and the said it was the drivers side airbag not the actual steering wheel one but the side one in the seat.

I was wondering has anyone changed it or do they know how? I would rather order it from Joe for 200 bucks then pay the dealer over 600. Thanks for your help!

You might want to see if you can get some Infiniti assistance on your issue. They have changed the design of the seat air bags on the I-30. The old style bag had a two piece wiring harness(pigtail) and the new one have just the one wire. Disconnect the battery! You first have to remove the seat back, which has four plastic retaining clips, unbolt the bag nuts (2) with an inverted torx socket, after removing the old air bag and sub-harness, be sure to route the new wiring exactly as the old one, and the connector is located at the front of the seat bottom and is yellow in color. The new bag comes with two new torx type nuts which have loctite already on the threads.
