I30 intermittent engine cutoff

So i bought this infiniti thinking it would be simple to fix, i paid 260 for it so putting a few hundred into it to make it work wont hurt me... I havent found a solution to this on the search of this website, basically it runs and drives good sometimes, and other times its a nightmare, hard starting, will start when i floor it and crank, dying randomly, temperature seems to have no affect on this, i havent replaced anything yet because i havent found reliable answers... I can hear the fuel pump prime. Im completely and utterly baffled. also, the ignition is kinda weird, i have to lift the key then turn forward or it wont engage the starter... i had a jeep do something similar with the dying and random no starts and it was a crankshaft position sensor.. any thoughts or ideas?????
