I've owned my 2001 I30 for 18 months and loved every minute driving it.

I need to replace the In-Cabin Ventilation Filter and I want to try and do it myself. I've not been able to find it on the internet cheaper than the dealer (@$50).

Any suggestions about locating it from someone else?

Any instructions describing how to replace it?

Can anyone tell me if this part is interchangeable with any of the Nissan cars, if so which ones?

Thanks for any help!

Remove the glovebox and you will see the filters held by a clip at the bottom. You should be able to take the part # to Nissan and check the price. Have you tried the site related INFINITI dealer?

I'll try your suggestion to remove the glove-box and take it by a Nissan dealer for pricing.

I did call one local Nissan dealer, he responded that he doesn't have access to Infiniti numbers and offered nothing more, nothing less... Sounded like he was giving me the "party-line" response. Needless to say he wasn't much help.

Thanks

Execute a search for "Infinti of Scottsdale" or "infinti of lisle", the numbers of their parts depts are posted on here somewhere.

Both parts managers are members here.Great prices just for us and often free parts advice as well.

You don't have to do a google search to find them.

you can execute the search using our search function for our boards to bring you to a post w/ their # and site links.

We have a couple of posts here on this board that include that info.Let them know u r a member here and u might get a discount.
