I30/I35 vs Maxima ( body )before I ask my question,

1-I searched google2-I searched on the .org and I read the FAQ: Frequently asked questions.....FAQ I30/I35

*What is the difference between my car and a Maxima?

The I30 / I35 and the Nissan Maxima are very close in everyway except body wise. They have the same engine, drivetrain, interior, and suspension. The only main difference is that the I30 has a different front and rear end then the Nissan Maxima. All of the mods for the Nissan Maxima except body mods will fit the I30 / I35.

My question is:

why won't the front fit( be swappable).. I know the rear can't since the quarter/tail light area is different... but the front?? I'm sure we share the same frame ( maxima and i30-i35 ), therefore mounting holes for body panels should be the same.. so if I were to swap the whole front end ( hood, bumper, fenders, lights, grill).. it should fit, no? shouldn't it be a simple swap like the jetta/golf front ends?

any insight regarding why it won't fit or why wouldn't it fit would be greatly appreciated..

thank you,

Yes the front ends are swappable. You have to swap the whole front end of course(hood, bumper cover, fenders, headlights grill, ect).
