I30 brake pad sensors

I bought a full set of OEM pads for my "00" I30 from the dealer, but only one pad out of all of them had a sensor. The old pads had sensors on every pad. Was there a redesign of the pads? Is the thinking that they would wear down evenly so only one sensor is needed?
