I30 Axle Boots - any ideas?

Yesterday while doing my brakes I noticed both left and right outer axle boots (maybe they're called CV boots) are ripped, and grease is coming out. I don't know what is involved in R&R'ing them myself, so I will be taking it to the dealer.

Can anyone tell me what to expect? What do dealers usually charge for this?

Replacement boots run about $40. I have no idea what a shop would charge to install. I just replaced both axles when my boots tore.
