I30 and Cars in General: Electrical Question

This seems to be a tough question posed to infiniti mechanics and part suppliers nationwide. Does anyone know what controls and tells the interior dome light and ignition key light to shut off after 30 seconds or so when the doors are closed?

My lights will not shut off after i close the door.

there is a time control module that handles this,under seat if I remember correctly.
