I have the stock Alpine CD changer that came with my 1999 I30 Limited and I was wondering how to connect my mp3 player through the CD changer.

I tried looking at the back of the CD changer, but it's kinda hard to get to because it's wedged under the passenger seat. Any ideas how to make it easier?

Would connecting a player disable the CD changer?

I've tried FM transmitters and cassette adapters, but the sound blows...or maybe it's my Blose system...

Thanks!

welcome aboard

in think there might be a way to do so. when i got my Q45 there was a plug already modified that went where my changer would have plugged into to run ipod. i am curious to see if you can tap into that wire just to add the mp3 player. you might try a search for bose/ipod addition

there is a company named PAC that should make the adapter to fit this situation. I had one for my Camaro. Check'm out. I couldn't find the website but I really didn't have time to do a good search. They are sold all over (ebay, crutchfield are two that come to mind).Jay
