I have been a member for a few months. I thought I would post a few pictures of my q for comment. It is a 1990 which I bought in September 2004. The car was a 2 owner vehicle at that point. I have all maint. records from new. 131,000 on the odo. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the car and bought for 4k. I needed a replacement for my 1990 Maxima, which was t-boned and totaled. I had decided that the q was the car to have. Since purchase I have added a xenon body kit, lowering springs and new shocks, and a stillen c.a.i. and new wheels and tires. This is by far the nicest automobile I have ever owned. I did not know about the chain guide issue until joining NICO. The car is slated for guide replacement this month. I welcome all comments, both positive and negative

I 2nd that. I think it's just SCREAMING for a touring spolier! Looks awesome. Could you post some more pictures? What size wheels and tires are those?

dude...your Q is sweet. I wish mine looked at good as that, but then again mine is usually going so fast down the road nobody can really see all the hard years of road hazards that have taken its toll on the body.

wow, yeah looks good. i would definitely PLAN on doing the guides, but with that many miles, you may find once you're in there that they've already been done. or not.

Yes, the tourning spoiler makes the car look longer.

I have always thought the Q looks like the big brother to the 1989 to 1994 Maxima. I ahve owned 2 of each.

Don't even turn it over until the guides are done. Most initial stress is at cranking.

I love it. The body kit does a lot while maintaining the Q's subtle styling. Definitely NOT a fan of the wheels, though. They'd look at home on a Lexus SC430.

dclapsaddle,Welcome to NICO! Very nice car. Love the dual exhaust. Can you post a close up of the wheels/tires. I was looking at some 18x7.5 wheels with 245/45 tires and want to see how the width and spacing looks on the Q with that size wheel/tire combo. Do you happen to know what the offset of those wheels is? Any spacers on the rear?
