Does anybody know how i could make my seats go back any further than what they already do? I cant really strech out in the versa like i could in my mustang but if i could somehow get the seats to slide back more i think i would be more comfortable.

Ah... don't take this the wrong way, but if you're sitting that far from the wheel, either your a genetic freak, or you're driving in a position that many Americans believe are "Racing style," but in reality makes you an unsafe driver who isn't in control of the wheel.

Ahh mabe you are right. It may just take me some time to get used to the seats and all.

:frown: Sorry it probably came off harsher than I intended, but I'm serious about the driving position issue. Too many people around these parts have their seats adjusted to have that back and law look, but basically put themselves in a position where they have no leverage over the wheel and can't fully depress the brake or accelerator without shifting in their seats.

Safety is a pet peeve - what can I say.

I think it's called "stylin". Sometimes you get behind someone and it looks like there's no one driving because they are slinked down so low in the seat. It's an image thing. Kinda dumb, really.

I have a buddy who is 6'8'' and he has to install seat track extenders in most of his cars. Google "seat track extender" and there are a few options there for you. Funny, I have had 3 Mustangs, and although I am only 5'9" they were always tight. With the V, I can barely reach the pedals with the seat all the way back. You must have VERY long legs :gapteeth:

i am 5'10 and have my seat all the way back and think its great. although that is coming from a past 95 grand am driver. my seat was all the way back in there and my knees were rested on the steering wheel. versa is much more roomy than that thing.

I didnt know there was extenders thats interesting, i thought tall people just had to take the front seat out like in police academy. I'm 5 11 too and when i put my seat all the way back I cant press the clutch the whole way.

I'm definitely going to have to look into those seat track extenders. I am 6'2" and for any drive over about an hour and a half my right knee starts killing me.
