Thanks Wade.
He's been talking about doing an MTX swap for a while now. Maybe he's started it or even completed it! Hope it's all going well, David.

No problem AlexM. lol, yah. I saw his sig and was like WTF?? the HLSD will only fit the 6spd, so yah, now that i know this he's probably getting all the parts together for the swap. I plan on doing this as well, just not sure exactly when.

$563 (includes tax)... I got pretty lucky with getting it. These things aren't readily available and when they are, there's typically only 1 or 2 in all of the U.S. Lucky for me one of the online parts stores is in my area.

... and yeah, it's for the mt swap. I don't have much to update on at the moment other than it's still "in progress"... But getting this part was a big step in the right direction. I should have more for you guys in the coming months. I'm meticulously documenting this process so others might be able to follow in my footsteps without as much hassle.

Would it be better to find one at one of your local junk yards? Not sure if its hard to find but I have ran into a couple in ontario,ca but it sucks because they wanted to sell me the whole transmission instead of the hlsd itself

Problem is they're about as easy to find in junkyards as it is to find a freakin 6MT equipped Altima. VERY few and VERY far between. I've been all over this for a while myself, but my money has been going other places lately.
