So I go to the car wash today and some foreigner guy with the vaccum asks me in an excited voice, "Is that a skyline?!?" I almost felt bad bursting his bubble. He looked so dissapointed. BTW when I corrected him he didn't know what Sileighty was or a Silvia or even a 240SX for that matter.

hehe, yea... S13s are a head turner. I use to have a S14 and you weren't the only one deftdrummer... no one ever mentioned anything about my car. When I got my S13, random people started to asked questions about my car left and right. (ok, maybe I exagerated a bit )

No one really cares that I have a 240SX.

Typical scenario...Person: What do you drive?Me: Nissan 240SXPerson: Oh.Me: Do you know what that is?Person: Um, no.

Otherwise it's people who run their mouths about turbos and drifting and commenting "It's too stock" or "You really should mod you car....exhaust, coilovers, anything". I don't care much for these people.

I do pride myself when I hear "Wow thats really clean/nice paint for such an old car" or "Is it really that old? Looks like new".

Used to care what others think, now it's more about I think.
