I bought S. Tech springs, KYB AGX shocks, and susp tech swaybars for my s14. Got all the stuff at AWESOME deals from Enjuku Racing (Ken ****ing rocks! as well as the guy with the green 240 that helped me carry all my expensive credit ruining crap out to my car!.... YEAH!) so I plunged and got the whole deal (except strut tower bars since im getting the one from zilvia.net, and a 3-point rear from ebay or something). Well, I went with Tein S. Tech springs over Eibach sportlines because theyre supposed to be stiffer (which they might be, feels about the same though since I've been in a car with sportlines, and the sportline car had STOCK shocks!) and they were cheaper. So I figured I'd grab them. Well, after hours of bull****, I finally got the shocks and springs installed (had to use hand tools, not even socket wrenches since I was at a buddies house and he misplaced his, had to use ****in monkey wrenches and ****) and set it down to check it out. The bastard is BARELY dropped, and I mean BARELY. Most people don't even notice it. I haven't had a person (out of the 5-6 people Ive showed) guess what part I got when I pull up and say "tell me whats diff about my car". I'm asking people cuz I want to see if its just me not noticing ****. Maybe its in my head. Overall I'm seriously dissapointed and wishing I didn't buy these damn springs and wish I just spent an extra $30 bucks and got Sportlines. Oh well, ya live and learn. Just wanted to post this to let other s14 owners know that S. Tech springs arent crap compared to sportlines. The car I drove in with sportlines was the same car as mine, but with a little more miles and the only susp mod was the springs, and his car felt stiffer and definately alot lower. Damnit all to hell, oh well. Oh yeah, everyone buy tons of **** from Ken at Enjuku. You don't need any mods right now you say? Tuff ****, give them money anyway!

ive got the fronts on 3 and the rears on 6. the settings they came on is 2 and i think 4-5. the front max is 4 and the rear is 8. i put them on 8 and they were still soft ride, but they also bounced alot, which really sucked. thats when i turned it down.

If I remember correctly you need to wait a while to let the springs settle. Eventually all of that weight from the car will drop the springs to where they will stay. I say measure the ground to the fender then give them a few thousand miles and measure again. There should be a difference. I hope to god because I have teins sitting on my porch and agx's on the UPS truck.

Well Tein does say the drop is about 1.3 in the front and .9 in the back even after they have settled. If you wanted a dropped look you really should have gone with the E's. Tein springs are just a sportier look...

I'm going with the S Tech and AGX's for my suspension package. I think I might be ordering them soon, but I'm not sure on getting suspension or a cat-back just yet.

i wish mine got that stiff, what springs are you using?

i went with teins for the dropped look because i was told they lowered 1.8 front and 1.6 rear (or somthing like that). That's exactly why I don't like taking advice and words from someone without that specific part, because its just gossip.

yeah, i know the site tells the size, but for the stiffness (that i was TOLD they have, which they dont) i was willing to take the chance. everyone told me that they lower farther than tein says they do. and ill bet everyone saying that **** didnt even have it, damnit. once again, thats why i dont like taking advice about parts from someone who hasnt experienced it.
