I have a 1990 coupe i would like to know if anyone has ideas on nice rims and if there is a way to adjust the camber properly without taking it to a shop? If anyone can give me any ideas as to what would look nice on my ride and if i should do a silvia conversion or not.

You have a nice clean car. Customize it to your own tastes and no one else's. Don't be a sheep.

welcome to nico man.

I'd say get anything 17x9 +20 all around or something... with some 225/45 or something along those lines.

as far as camber, camber plates up front and rear upper control arms in the rear. Just note that if you change your camber, you'll need to change your toe too, because one change affects the other, and vice versa.

Welcome to NICO! I see you're from Yuba City. I use to live there myself. I went to Bridge Street School and Gray Ave School. Moved away in 1994 and moved back in 2001. Nothing special now, but I was one of the first one back then in the area to do a SR swap. You ever see a pretty fast white MR2 rolling around in Yuba City? That's my cousin Peter.

You're lucky to already have a 5 lug conversion. Your wheel choices are endless compared to those of us still with 4 lugs. Listen to what Adrian says about the toe change after changing your camber out back. Messed up toe settings is worse than messed up camber settings. S13 Silvia conversions are nice but I don't think it's necessary to make your car look nice. Just keep it clean and simple.

It wears my tires down alot I just have not had time to go take it to a shop cause i need alignment done and my rear arm i do not know how to adjust properly.

for that more rounded front end (after 1990 S13), just go to a junk yard or look for some one doing a silvia front end swap... or just keep it piggy, looks clean as is for a white car... good luck with your build.

My buddy had a white wingless coupe with a oem silvia front, and a 5lug with the stock S14 Se wheels and i LOVED the way it looked.

idk why but S14 Se wheels look great on White coupes

what adjustable suspension do you have now?

If you've just got camber and toe bolts and non adjustable arms... I'm gonna just say go get an alignment dude... I mean its not that much. what like $60 or something?

Otherwise, if you have adjustable arms, you can seriously do your own alignment. I haven't had a real deal alignment in like a year, I kind of eyeballed my suspension, and so far I haven't had any unusual tire wear (yeah, I know I need a real alignment, but I'm still waiting on other suspension components before I go).

Let me also add that toe affects tire wear more than camber does. So your toe angle might be more of a concern than your camber.

^ Well, camber as you know is the wheel tilting/leaning up or down. Toe is it basically pivoting left or right. Kinda like you can pivot your foot. I know it's not that awesome of an explination but maybe it helps.

About the wheels? What's your budget? If it's tight, I suggest some oem 350z wheels because you already have it converted to 5lug, which is a plus. Clean coupe btw.

well soon my budget will be all my money i will be dumping everything i make into it in tell it is finished. so really price is not an issue. Just have to wait till paydays and what not. I think i understand what you were saying i looked some stuff up on internet i think my toe is adjusted ok I believe its my camber that is really bad because it shows bad wear on the inside of tires i just bought all new tires and i really need to get this adjusted before it shreds theses up.
