Did anyone happen to see the GT-4 category? 1,2,3 sweep by Nissan, 200sx, new sentra, and 200sx respectively. There was a Datsun 510 that got 5th or 6th...not sure though. Just thought I'd let everyone know Nissan dominated one class at the run-offs.

Do you race? I've run in the STS class, but am not a member yet. There is a '94 SE-R that pretty much dominates that class here in Indy.

No, I'm going to start this spring. I got my car last year, but couldn't compete due to work, fixing the car, ect. Hopefully all this spring/summer I'll be out there. Just need some wheels and new rear coilovers...oh yeah, and of course a transmission rebuild. And I need to learn how to heel/toe, I can't do it worth a damn...

heel toe is something I'm currently working on at the moment as well. Can provide some crucial seconds on the track, just tricky to get a hang of for a newb like myself! Hey, if you have any good pointers, please pass the knowledge!

Haha, Repo just talked about lapping you and you want pointers on heel/toe? I assume you were talking to him, cause I don't have any pointers, like I said I'm trying to learn myself, its just a ***** cause my feet aren't big enough to cover both pedals, and I can't actually heel toe (toe on gas, heel on brake) because my leg hits the wheel. I guess being 6' has its disadvantages (although I'm still glad I'm no 5'5" asain guy).

Ok, here's a pointer, sell the S14, get a bad-boy S13 and don't put so many damn pictures in your sig.

In a heel/toe downshift, you don't necessarily have to use your heel and toe. You are on the brake, clutch in, and tap the throttle with the right side of your foot while it is still on the brake and clutch out just as the rpm comes up for a smooth transition in gears that does not upset the balance of the car in the turn, thus allowing you to maintain superior control and lap the sh.it out of s14 newbie, non-shifting, slow a.ss.

In turns that are wider that you don't need to brake for, you can clutch in, shift and tap the gas with your toe just as you clutch out and then brake if you need to.

Anything else Paulie?
