As part of my job I have been hit, kicked, bitten, and cursed out. I have gone to the hospital twice for myself, urgicare three times due to work-related injuries or else stress-related issues (caused by work no doubt). I have been asked to clean up vomit, feces, and even wipe another person's a**. I have been forced to stand outside in the cold, rain, snow, and sleet on multiple occasions for drills and false alarms.

And so far I've done it all with a smile on my face. No fighting here. Do you remember in high school when you take that aptitude test and give you a book of careers and you get to pick whatever one you want to be? Why would anyone pick special education?!?

(Jokes aside, I love my job even with all the metaphorical and literal crap I have to deal with!)
