I was Checking my Service manual LSD

I was flipping through my service manual and i made a discovery. according to the pictures the VLSD differental has a different Filler plug location check chapter PD and take a close look at the R200 (PD11) vs. the the R200V(PD12) the filler on the R200V is on the side as opposed to both being on the rear. Has anyone else noticed this? Is identifing a LSD really that easy? Please i've seen the links about spinning the wheel or looking at the sticker(which is NEVER there) Thoughts

mine doesnt have that orange sticker, but it does have the cooling fins. not sure where the plug is though, but i do seem to think it is on the drivers side. i have never been able to test it by leaving tracks, as my tires wont let me.

I've never seen one w/o the orange sticker..it's there just maybe needs to be uncovered.

r34: what kind of tires do you have that u can't spin them at all?

either can't spin them or they don't leave marks. I don't think it's that he can't spin.
