That would be highly illegal.

why would you even post that information here.... that's seriously incriminating.... just go aftermarket and avoid getting yourself screwed. Aftermarket > Bose any day of the week man. I like pioneer myself.

If you've got a loan from a bank, it wouldn't be illegal to 'swap' stereos. If you've got a bank loan and the car gets reposessed, the bank takes the car, not the dealer. As long as there's a stereo in the car, the bank wouldn't even know the difference.

not true. He isn't the owner of the car. Theorectially he can't do any serious modifications to the car because the car isn't his. Not that most banks care, but it's still the law. IF its an unsecured loan, then he would have the title and he'd be fine... but he also wouldn't be getting his car REPO'd.

I also love my Pioneer with the Ipod integration. 3000+ songs accessible withing seconds thru the head unit with the Ipod hidden in my armrest console. F***ing awesome. The face plate on mine is removable so there are no visible expensive stereo components when the need to go stealth arises. Here's a thread of my installation where only the aftermarket head unit is visible at any given time.

Nice back peddle, but anyways Just get new speakers in your car with an amp to run them and you will sound better than the stock system anyways (if you want to keep the stock look) It's just the speakers and the head unit is made by Clarion anyways...

Personally i agree with davskins97, the Pioneer units get you IPOD integration and in my case XM and Navi...FTW

I had every LED replaced throughout the entire dash (hundreds of them) There was guy that was doing it for awhile but he has since disappeared from the boards...
