i own a 1990 240sx fastback and i would like to turbocharge it any help with knowing what to do?

http://www.ka-t.org forums have a whole section dedicated to the sohc ka-t. Other than a different exhaust manifold things aren't all that different from boosting a dohc.

search there and here and your bank account also, there are lots of knowledgable people making gobs of power on these KA's.

and the sohc is just as good if not better for a turbo than the DE, dont listen to biased opinions favoring the DE's or SR's or whatever

The DE has the option of being able to use two cams. therefore the head will be able to breath better. But thats the only real difference. So for numbers under 350whp both are excellent motors.

Another thing to consider when going turbo, if you don't have a LSD rear end yet, you'll need one after you add some boost.

Another reason why the DE is better is it has piston oil squirters.
