seriously, what the hell was he thinking? that bottom nut 2nd from the back can kis the fattest part of my as$. so my question is, which one of the really crappy ebay manifolds is the least crappy? they have this one for $89, but that seems ridiculous. any companies to get? i just....want to kill something. END its life.

i bought one from dubuloiz (sp?) and had a hell of a time fitting it. had to modify the turbo flange to clear the transmission. had to move it to the left about 5mm. overall quality of welds and such is good. just pain the a$$ to fit. i think if you buy a different elbow you should be ok. but the factory turbo elbow is not going to cut it.

awesome. sorry for yelling guys, i just lost it trying to get that last nut off. anyway, theres the flyn manifolds, and these ones for $89. they look to be the same, but you get no info on them other than with the flyn auctions. i wish ssac was still flooding ebay with theirs, but alas.

We should make an inquiry to full-race and see if they would make a run of manifolds. Although I imagine nobody on here could afford one though as they cost almost as much as a motorset.

i checked the ssac web site and it seemed more expensive than they used to be on ebay. i would love a full race manifold but i just dont think ive got the financial guns right now. if someone could make an awesome one for under say, 350ish i would be game.

EXACT same thing happened to me. I swear it took me forever to get that thing off, and not to mention later on when I had to put it back on. That is one of the most dreaded parts about our motor! Damn SH**!

i make sure that the o2 housing is off FOR SURE, then i go under the car, (with it on jackstands of course) with my toes under the front bumper, and i reach up, and spin it bit by bit with the box end if i can fit it, if not, i do the flip flop with the open end. I always get the farthest one (the two ***** bolts as ive called them) then i get teh closest one to the firewall. thats about the best i can describe it

$1300 for a manifold? Seriously, that is $22 more than I paid for my entire motorset.

$1300 for this?

Lol werd.. i thought I was the only one that felt that way

That's a ****load of money for a manifold

I haven't had a bit of trouble with my ssac (or at least ebay mani.. i'm not 100% sure what brand since it came with my ca). The welds look great and there isn't a bit of fitment issues

I'll seriously start fabbing these at $3-400 a piece if you guys are serious about buying them. Somebody's going to have to bring their car by my shop for me to make a pattern though, cause my s13 is RB powered.

Ha...with that I could pay my rent...car pmt...and student loan. Even my s13 was a few hundred less than that. Ill keep my ssac anyday.
