So far I've just got the intake/exhaust as far as performance goes. I've dropped it on Sportlines, and have a front strut bar. I've got a 93. You think once I have a new racing clutch and a header, plus the new tires I just got, is it possible to hit a 15 flat? My goal is to dip into the 14s, just because that'll smoke any honda or acura (well, maybe not NSXs, ha). Here's how I figure the numbers:

Intake: 2hpHeader: 2hpExhaust: 3hpClutch/Pulleys: Regain probably around 5 lost hp

I figure with my motor, I should put around 145hp to the wheels with all those (my DE only has 68k miles).

What ya'll think?

Nick.

he said "145 to the wheels". the stock rating of 155 is at the crank. Don't know Nick... I am going to bust my 240's cherry tonight at Desoto speedway.... babied for 4 years... tonight sets the benchmark... Your numbers are on the conservative side... run it see what you get.Matt

add an electric fan, the asp crank pulley, and get a jwt ecu upgrade. That'll be a few more horses.

Do you have an LSD?? That would definitly help, and with all those other mods, and maybe some slight lightening (trunk/interior) you should be able to hit 14s.

Add some stickers, nvm that works for hondas only. Why doesn't anyone ever try gears in the rear-end? They are pretty cheap and would make a noticable difference.

i would think that intake headers exhaust would help as combo, along with a clutch/flywheel, and pulleys, and a good driver, could put you where you wanna be easily

Add some racing camshafts from PDM Racing or somewhere else that also should help.

I was referring to the company...Don't use more than three .'s. I may be a ****, but it makes me F4cking angry as h3ll when people use incorrect grammar.

The content matters not, grasshopper, only the punchline.
