Hello all...first time posting...I recently purchased an 06' Murano (will post pics soon) and i want it to sound like the FX35. Now i don't want to go to crazy and get a complete exhaust system, i feel that is going over board (simply my opinion) i was thinking more or less a air intake, Now I'm worried about a cold air intake because i don't want to be thinking anything negative when it rains or if i go over a puddle too hard. I would like a short ram intake, the only one i have seen has been the POP charger intake and the Injen intake with MR technology...now what is MR Technology and also i work for an autoparts company and i can get the injen brand for about $160 it retails for over $$300

Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry for the delayed welcome, but WELCOME TO NICOclub! Glad to have you here in the Murano Forum!

I think the reason you have not gotten a response is that this is sort of uncharted territory for Murano owners. The FX does have a sweet sound, part of it is the exhaust, other part is the intake. Goal would be to mimic the FX system as closely as possible to achieve similar results. Unfortunately I really do not have the knowledge of intake and exhaust systems to be able to help you with this one. Please keep us posted as to what you do end up doing, it certainly will be interesting to find out what kind of results you have. GOOD LUCK!

Hey I have a Cold Air Intake on my 05 Mustang and a programmer that adds fuel to the additional air thats added through the intake. If you just add more air and not more fuel you will lean out the mixture and possibly do damage to the engine. You should be careful. I believe if your looking for just a better sound you might want to invest in a exhaust system.
