I have a 93 240sx....and i blew my head gasket a few months ago..and i have it garaged due to the winter . But iam looking for a engine kit to have it all rebuilt. Because i have 130,000 miles.Is there anybody out there that can give me some good sites to find a kit...
:ylsuper ...I love the 240sx...i sink some money in to it..and get a beast like most of the guys here on the forum...

I bought a rebuild kit . I am in the prosise rebuilding my 92 240sx. The kit ( Gasket kit - Engine Repair) comes with a washer-drain plug,seal-oil crankshaft rear,gasket-rocker cover,seal-ol crankshaft front,gasket-egr control valve,seal-o ring,gasket-throttle chamber,seal-o ring ,seal-o ring distributor. Gasket-cylinder head,sal-oil valve, gasket-rocket cover,gasket-exhaust mainfold collector,gasket-EGR Passage,seal-o ring, packing-oil filler cap,seal- o ring upper,seal-o ring lower ,gasket-AAC valve. that is everything that comes with it. I paid about $170.00 for it at the dealer ship. I thougt a 170.00 engine repair kit wasa good deal ,plus coming from the dealer ship it has all Nissan parts. Jeff

But i dont have any nissan dealers in my area i live up at the northern tip of new york..i live about 10 minutes from the border.
Would you or any others now of any aftermarket places or sites to order a rebuild kit..

I'm also rebuilding my engine on my 92 240sx because of a blown head gasket.

well i took care of my head gasket awhile ago about a month ago and well it was pretty straight forward seeing as how i did noi work except cheack out that cheltons book and auot shop at school took care of evrything i got my head gasket kit at importsautoplace.com took a while for the charge to go through though -edgar
