If you did an SR, you can do a CA...the wiring isnt ungodly hard, if you have some intelligence (questionable in today's time I know) then you should be able to figure it out. Besides, the information is out there, you just have to look for it. You could probably also get unstable or one of the other shops to do the wiring, I'm not certain on that but it's likely.

Unstable's wiring service is 100 + shippinh US. This swap will be jsut as easy if not easier then the sr if you get the wiring done by unstable it will also be plug and play. Don't worry the CA swap is no harder then the SR

enjuku racing here in orlando also does harness services too...talk to ken he'll give you a good deal:D it might actually be cheaper to do a CA harness than an SR b/c it most defn. is easier!

Everything bolts right up?

I'm talking from the KA24E, or KA24DE engine.

Manifolds, mounts, and everything. Then I get the wiring harness, and I'm done?

I emailed enjuku-racing not too long ago and got a quote for $300 for the wiring conversion. I think i'm going to go with Unstable-Hybrids, heh.

this post confuses the hell outta me?

you can't use either manifold...or a/c lines...or really anything other than the power steering lines from a ka24de...I guess you can use the lower harness (to the starter/alternator/transmission) but there is very little that swaps over from the KA to the CA...

but if you have a complete CA18 engine, wiring harness, ecu, and transmission...then yeah everything bolts up (KA mounts work fine):D hope that cleared it up for ya!

I think it's probably that they just don't want to do it. That way if they do get someone to pay the price, they'll be getting a decent amount of money to make up for the annoyance.

I think that price is for a cut or partial harness, the full harness to full harness should only be about $100 or so.
