If i was working right now and didn't have to deal with finals, I'd strongly consider buying this. It's sexy....not so sexy with the top up.

really? It was probably hot in its prime.... but today the restoration would probably exceed the sale price. Unless the you have the funds and a second vehicle, not a wise choice.

o yeah and its ugly =P

That $2200 could be spent on a better car. I understand where you're coming from though.

Okay, you can have it.

That would be an interesting project. If I had the money, I'd definitely go for it.

i'd rather get the 2000. You get 2 liters, an 8k rmp redine, 150 horses, and a 150 mph top speed.

This one, with either an SR or KA-T was on ebay awhile back, think he was trying to get $10k.

mmmm, i'd like to drop the engine Adam Corolla has in his 510 in there, a really nicely done FJ20E. too bad most are hard to get here and parts are just as rare in japan.

Those are classy little cars. Some guy south of the city in brunswick has a white one that he's been restoring for a few years. I like them a lot.

On a side note, collectorcartraderonline has some awesome stuff. I've been browsing that site for years

I saw that car on Super2ner tv, it was awesome. True though about the motor though. Its a awesome BRE replica.

The 1600 is cool, but damn do they have rust issues. We got one and the amount of rust is insane!

Datsun didn't preserve their cars well. I almost bought one but it was beyond help when I took a closer look. Dam rust monsters.

Yeah, that the big problem in getting a clean 510 or 1600, the rust in the undercarriage is always there unless you kept it in a bubble the last 45 years.....

I've got a 510 that is decidedly not clean, but on the upside, it does have a shift knob with a picture of the Virgin Mary on it...

I've got a clean extra shell for it though.
