Fritz Henderson, the former CEO of GM, has been rehired as a consultant. He works 20 hours per month and has to meet with GM's international president once a month. His compensation: $59,090 a month! That's almost $3,000 an hour!!!

I'd fly to all the GM dealers across the nation and put NICO tagging cards under all the windshield wipers!

So for the rate they pay that guy, I could work 1 hour a month and live comfortably...

It is amazing what these guys make, but there are so many of the "top dogs" that make money like this.

People wonder why companies do so poorly. Well, it's because the top 1% of people take 99% of the money. Terrible system.

Heck that's just his pay, as GM ex-CEO, even for such a brief period, his perks package would likely inspire even more outrage.

So, you suck at your job, get fired, get brought in as a consultant, make more money work less hours, and tell the company what to do (which is exactly what got you fired in the first place)?

Yeah. GM can suck it. I hope they go belly-up, because that's crap.

Sorry KV. It was $3,000 an hour.

The powers that be at GM are retarded. Could it be any more clear why they are in so much trouble?

Well, even outside of these top dog scenarios this is true. Look at management in companies. The higher you go the less physical work you do. It becomes more mental. Mental work gets paid far more then physical
