I Want the BEST G37 Coupe Custom Fit Cover

Hi all,

New member on the forums! I searched for a thread on car covers but didn't find anything so I'm starting this one.

After preliminary research I have found a little info on G37 covers:

Covercraft Weathershield: pretty much what I want (Rain, Sun/UV, Dust, Washable) for $270

I heard that the one from Infiniti is the same, only with Infiniti re-badging on the fabric. I would be ok with this, but my dealer quoted me at something like $350 for it!

So if anyone has any suggestions as to what the best car cover is or has a lead on cheap prices for either the weathershield or the infiniti branded one please let me know.

I am waiting on their response as to whether it is truly a Covercraft Weathershield and just rebranded or not.

Yes sir that is correct, they are manufactured by Covercraft for Infiniti/Nissan.

Is your cover the Infiniti version or the Covercraft branded? Also, if you got the Infiniti version, is it sized specifically for the G37 or just for any of their coupes? AutoAnything offers it for $269 with free shipping, no lock included.

I may get that as it seems to be specifically for the G37. Has anyone else run across any better deals or know of a better cover? I will most likely order at the end of the week to give myself a few more days to find the best one at the best price.

Ok, since you told me that the infiniti one is for all their g coupes (but still fits the g37 nicely) i think I will get that. It's a bit cheaper than the covercraft one but the same thing. I found it for $217 (w/o lock) at MyNismo.com for the 2003-2006 G35.

Probably will get the lock seperately still, but it's the cheapest price I've found so far. I will continue lookin around for myself and other NICOs.

Since it's the same for both Gs.. is it the same as the 2dr altima's cover? Should I look into getting that or JDM cover if it's substantially cheaper? I wouldn't mind tooo much to have my cover say Nissan or Nismo, but I would prefer it to say Infiniti or Covercraft. Does anyone else have a different cover that they just really love and would recommend? If not I'll probably end up getting the Infiniti branded Covercraft Weathershield one... Hopefully it fits the G37 fine, as mranderson says it does. The G37 is a little bigger — an inch longer, fraction of an inch wider.

They charge $10 for the lock seperately and about $20 for shipping. That is a phenomenal deal compared to the $350 my dealership quoted...

After further research I have come to determine that the G35 and the G37 do have different vehicle cover parts. The G35 cover may fit the G37 as it is not much larger, however I would like to get the correct part if possible

G35 Vehicle Cover: 999N2-JPC00G37 Vehicle Cover: 999N2-JU000

I'll be looking around for that part for the cheapest price. If I find a deal I will report back to here. I would like to order and hopefully have it shipped out today.

Ok I did it! I ordered the one from infiniti-parts.com as they seem to be the only parts dealer stocking the G37 edition of the Infiniti branded cover. It cost like $272 shipped! but I feel like it will generate at least that much difference in the resale value of the car. Probably won't ship until next week though because I lagged on ordering :\ I'll let you guys know how it turns out and take some pics and stuff.
