Okay. no matter what, 100000- mile-engine is a 100000-mile-engine.I don't go over 3.5k rpm because of "KA" engine vibration. It's scary as hell, it really does look like it's gonna blow up even with ZERO boost. compression is 150,150,150,125, it's almost dead.

Since I don't have my own garage, I can't even try to disassemble the engine.

Do you guys know any good place to buy rebuilt KA engine? or KA with less than 50000 miles on it which is nearly impossible.I'm tired of used ones. All the junk yard engines has minimum 90000 on it.

I'm thinking to get enroll in Saddleback(?) college, i heard they have automotive classes, so i can fix my car over there for PRACTICE/HOMEWORK . But not sure yet.

Well do you want a rebuilt stock motor or a built one. Tons of places have built "crate engines" but I don't know of anywhere that sells rebuilt stock ones. Your machine shop is the place for you, and if your worried about downtime then pick up a junked ka and bring it to them.

Stock or built? That is the question. Buying a rebuilt motor would come out to about the same price as having your local machine shop build one.

Here are some places that have built motors:http://www.tophatperformance.com (Heard many good things about them)http://www.handcraftedracing.com/engines.html (They sponsor Ka-t.org)http://www.phatka-t.com/engineparts.htm (After Ivan left I don't about them)http://boostdesigns.com (Don't even have to say anything )

I'm sure theres others.

I am at AMS now. SP (PK) has no core motors as I owned them all. They also have nobody there that knows about KAs or 240s for that matter. I am not trying to advertise but you can just replace PK with http://www.turbo240.com

My bad man, I even knew you're at AMS. It's just that there was nothing on your site. I'm looking forward to your kits. I want one of those sexy manifolds!!
