wow man, thanx for all the info, really helps, i wanted to get front , rear sway and strut bars, but i didnt know if it would make THAT much of a diff on my car, but after hearin that, im goin with em, and ive been wanting to lower my car a lil bit for a while, and i wanted to lower no more than 1in in the rear and 2 in the front, but i guess i can live with 1.3 on both, and u think Los Angeles has bad roads, try NEW ORLEANS, in top 3 for worst roads in the country!!< ever road is one big pot hole, but thy;re solving this slowly but surely, and i never really was into bushings and dont really PLAN to do them, but thats not saying they'll never happen, thanx again man, really helpfulblackaltima wrote:Eibach pro-kit is arguably the best springs for lowering your car. It does not rattle your teeth when you hit over train tracks or uneven pavements. It also allows you to use your existing factory shocks. Drawback is you are limited to lowering it to no more than 1.3 inches ( I prefer it that way). You won't be doing too much of that "bumpstop dance". Thicker, solid, sway bars makes a big difference in the way your car takes the corners. Definitly a must. On my 01 Allty, a rear bar is the only one available. Suspension Techniques made them and Stillen sold them. I then took the bar to a shop to be powdercoated mower red. With springs and rear bar, my car is much more fun to drive on that long and winding road. As for urethane bushings, I did not bother with them. I use my car for the streets and freeways. Los Angeles has the worse roads w/ lots of hazards. Those hard bushings will rattle me to death!
