Hey guys, i got the car back out this month and i'm looking at getting an exhaust and maybe coilovers,
I do not want to spend 1200$ on a piece of stainless steel, so i would like any recommendations you guys have on exhaust to buy.

Also what brand of coilovers is everybody running and what height adjustment does it give?

Maybe the HKS replica? You can google some reviews & audio clips of it.

Invidia is always a good option for less than 1k. Let me know if you are interested.

No problem. Just because it's on ebay doesn't mean its any different than the one I posted. Sometimes ebay might even have the same item at a better price. This exhaust seems ok for the price, but I do read about ppl having issues with them fitment though. Nothing serious, just exhaust hangers not be ideally placed. Be sure to check it out thoroughly.

I had the hks rep before i got the motordyne, it was a pretty solid exhaust. Had zero problems with it, the fitment on the right tip was a little off to the right though maybe a half inch but nothing too noticeable.

Godspeed and x02 are your best bet for that type of exhaust. $480

My best suggestion is to buy the topspeed titanium 4.5 tips for it though. The s*** attempt at a burn tip that these come in are horrendous.

If your're just looking to lower your car and coilovers are something you have decided on you might just want to go with something like k-sport, or stance.

I was going to suggest the HKS knockoff exhaust (I was thinking ISIS) or one from Invidia, it sounds like most of us on the same page here.

why not just keep the one you have. The stock VQ exhaust sounds amazing and unless you're doing serious upgrades to your car, or just want it to be louder, you could put that money toward other things to help with your cars appearance.

If you must have an exhaust, why don't you patiently wait and get a nice used stillen or hks or nismo exhaust. You can get a pretty good deal and find one that's in really good shape. People are always trading up to get a motordyne so I'm sure you can come across something

supposedly those ART pipes sound amazing....I'd buy motordyne or ARK if I was keeping my Z.....

Now that I think about it, OP you may be able to get the ARK True Dual V2 for around $1100...its very high quality, great look and sound, and not $1200...tho it is kinda close.

If you're going to rock the single exit, i highly recommend doing so with the nismo finned Diff cooler[MSRP-$115](that guy in the picture has it.) and the ARC diff cooler.[MSRP $2,499] (yeah right.)

Single exhaust has always looked a little unbalanced to me, guess it's because we all know what it looks like from the factory.

That's not to say that I wouldn't rock one if it were connected to an RB26. ;)

that arc exhaust is sexy as hell! If I had endless amounts of money, I still probably couldn't afford it, but I want it!

You want it the way I want Gina Carano to sit across the table from me and bite her lip.

Well...maybe not quite like that.

To be honest I'd be kinda scared to have Gina Carano in the same room as me...one wrong thing said and say good-bye to consciousness....

Those endless brakes do look great, for some reason my pants keep getting tighter every time I see them...I'm taking them back to the pants store
