i want a Nissan Titan

Hows it going guys?

I want to buy a Pick up Truck. I sold my 93 Chevy truck about a year ago and looking to get another truck. I was looking at Ford F150's but what I really want is a Titan but I'm a little scare because I know little of them or the VK56DE.
So is their anything to be scare of?
I'm going to buy a used one maybe 05-08, what is the life expectations of the truck or engine? I was looking at one with 140k miles on it. How is maintenance on the truck? and of course the dumb question how is the gas consumption?

Early Titans had teething problems otherwise they are pretty reliable.

What do mean teething? I heard about the differentials locking up or something.
