Be like...mom, dad, I think we need to have a talk. And then *politely* tell them what you think about your truck, try not to offend them if they were the ones that bought it for you. And then tell them your plan. I hope you have one picked out in your price range though man.

- maybe the 240 is better on gas?

- you're interested in cars and you can more easially work on the 240?

- you want to learn stick? (is the truck auto I donno)...

- you dont need a truck and its a waste

- you want a "back seat" for your friends (ha ha funny, right?)

- the S13 hatch can carry a lot with the seat down, not like you're giving up all of your ability to transport things

I donno man having the truck for such a short time and being so young (I assume so much since you have to ask your parents about this...), it's going to be hardest trying to convince them that you're not just moving on to the "next best thing." Make them beleive that this is an intelligent, mature, honest choice-- not a spur of the molment thing.

I guess they want you to drive a truck cuz your fairly new to driving? and that IF i mean IF (I hope not) you have an accident you will be safer in a big truck. But with trucks you can roll them.. and like fiznat mentioned, better mileage on gas, easier to park (if you live in a city) you wont need a huge space to park the cars, and most importantly! you can be part of this forum! (haha yeah the last one was gay but i couldnt come up with anything... so sue me)

Back into someones car, tell your parents you didn't see it, and that you think your truck is too big, and that you need a smaller, more reliable car, and plus better gas mileage. Then show them the 240 you have already chosen.:)
